Add Growing Space Right Outside Your Door
Step into a warm, sunlit space filled with thriving plants without ever leaving your home. An attached greenhouse connects directly to an existing structure, turning an exterior wall into a productive and inviting place to grow.
For many gardeners, this setup brings together the best of both worlds. You get a dedicated greenhouse environment while enjoying the everyday convenience of having it just steps away from your kitchen, mudroom, or patio.
Attached greenhouses are especially popular for gardeners who want easy access to their plants, utilities, and tools while also creating a beautiful extension of their home.
At Charley’s, our Made-to-Order Cross Country greenhouses can be configured as either freestanding structures or building-attached designs. If you choose an attached greenhouse, there are two primary connection styles to consider.
A lean-to greenhouse attaches directly to an existing wall and features a single-slope roof that ties into the building.
This style is often used for sunroom or solarium spaces and can be designed to fit beneath existing eaves so it blends naturally with your home.
Lean-to attached greenhouses are typically built using Cross Country Traditional straight-eave or Pacific curved-eave roof styles.
A gable-attached greenhouse keeps the familiar greenhouse roof shape but connects one or both ends to an existing structure.
This design often feels more like a full greenhouse extension than a simple add-on. In some layouts it can even connect two buildings.
All Cross Country roof styles can be configured as gable-attached, giving you the widest range of greenhouse profiles.
